THE 11TH EXECUTIVE PROGRAM SEMINAR FOR MACROECONOMIC POLICYMAKERS HELD

The 11th Executive Program Seminar was held from November 29 through December 10, 2010. The program, which was attended by 21 senior officials from 10 Asian countries, again proved to be highly successful. The seminar reviewed global and regional economic developments as well recent advances in policymaking and macroeconomic theory. It focused on a number of important issues facing the Asian economies, including capital flows, fiscal sustainability and regional cooperation, on which there were informal and lively exchange of views. The 12th Seminar is scheduled to take place from April 11 to 22, 2011.
