At the end of February, M1 students visited Kanazawa for an APPP field trip.
Among others, they visited Awazu plant (located in Komatsu city near Kanazawa) of Komatsu Ltd. Komatsu showed students not only how it assembles working gear products, but also how it tries to save energy by making good use of unused thinned woods (left in the local forests) and how AI technology could improve safety, productivity and environments. We thank Komatsu staff for wonderful arrangements and hospitality.
